Inside Kilimanjaro Treks

Kilimanjaro Treks
Climbing
Kilimanjaro with the Kiliwarriors is by far the most exclusive experience
on the mountain. Best routes, best equipment, best guides, most fun, best
safety procedures, most eco-aware, best pre- and post climb
accommodations. But according to our clients, it is the chemistry of our
team and our confidence on the mountain that made their trips
unforgettable – please read our
testimonials.
We specialize in the 9-day
Western Breach Route - it is the most
scenic route, less traveled, has a built in acclimatization day to ensure
a more enjoyable mountain experience and summit success, and a daytime
ascent to the summit. The hike to the summit on the morning of day 8 only
takes 90 minutes, so clients are really able to enjoy the summit
experience! Ninety-nine percent of our clients opt for this route and we
have almost 100% summit success on this route! And here is the best part -
anyone can do it! The majority of our Breach clients live at sea-level
with no hiking experience. We had 11-year olds complete the Breach route,
and 75-year olds!
Our second recommended route for the
most enjoyable trek and summit success is the 9-day
Lemosho Crater Route - see below for
a link to a recent film on this route starring the Kiliwarriors & Angie
Everhart! This route also offers a daytime summit ascent.
The 7-day
Machame Route is our third option and
great for clients who do not mind the all night summit ascent and who only
have 7 days available to trek.
For climb package cost and a
detailed list of everything included in the climb package, please read the
Costs Section of our web site. For
trek departure dates see
Trekking Dates . Keep in mind clients
need to arrive 2 days prior to the trek. Most clients fly via Amsterdam
and catch KLM direct to Kilimanjaro airport (JRO). These KLM flights
arrive around 8pm in the evening where we meet them.
Our team stars in a 120 minute
