Eben
I was born in Cape Town, South Africa but my parents moved to Mossel Bay on the Garden Route when I was 2 years old. I spent my teenage years on the beaches of the Southern Cape and my young adult life in Stellenbosch and Cape Town - windsurfing almost daily for nearly 6 years! I moved to the USA in 1990, met Carol and we married soon after.
We now reside in Troutville, VA from where we oversee our various business interests in Africa and North America:

Carol
I grew up in the Roanoke area of Virginia, USA with fond memories of the Shenandoah Valley and the Blueridge. Graduate studies took me to Tennessee and the Florida panhandle before I moved to Northern Virginia where I met Eben.
I fell in love with Africa in the early 90s when I visited Eben's family for the first time. Nowadays we try to spend as much time as possible in Africa!
Carol is an accomplished composer/songwriter. She composed and arranged the original score for the 2-hour DVD production, "Kilimanjaro - The Way It Is" - winner of four Telly™ Awards in 2005! The DVD is available at amazon.com.

Cappuccino (Cappy)
I was born in Reston VA. I am a Papillion. I love the Washington Redskins and wear my Skins sweater every winter. I like rugby too and get up very early on Saturdays with my daddy to watch the Springboks play on cable TV. I have many cousins in South Africa but I don't speak Afrikaans and I don't like to fly.
