Elephant Tented Lodge

Click on the pictures for larger images!

About 25km after the Makuyuni junction Bordering the Tarangire National Park, Elephant Tented Lodge's twelve luxurious tents with en-suite bathrooms and private verandas, combine the romance of tents roofed with thatched makuti and the sophistication of permanent structures carefully positioned with a view of waterhole purposely inserted for elephant and other wildlife to quench their thirst from the hot sun of the day.

From your veranda you can enjoy the bush sunset or watch the birds or other wildlife at the water hole.

The dining room is a traditional chief style rondavel where you can enjoy a unique fusion of Africa's exotic recipes and traditional cooking skills.

Night game drives are a specialty as well as visiting Maasai bomas.

The Tarangire main entrance gate is just 9km from the lodge.
