Butman Tarangire Luxury Camp, built on grass land near Olasite Village, using local materials like timber, grass, poles, is located just outside Tarangire National Park about 3.5km from the park boundary.

At the heart of the camp is the impressively high thatched roofs of the Lounge and Dining room - the open-sided design allows an uninterrupted view of the bush and wildlife while capturing the cooling breeze during lunch or dinner.

The Lounge Area has local chairs and tables made from the Southern Region of Tanzania (Ndali tribe) found in Mbeya region. This makes for a perfect place to relax in the evening. You may see many different species of birds, and if you are lucky even ostrich, giraffe, zebra, elephant and many others.

Getting to Butman Luxury Camp is only about 1 and 1/2 hour's drive (110km) from Arusha on a good tarmac road.
