HOME The Game Drivers Sokonoi Camp is located on the Oropile Lugga (a seasonal river flowing out of the nearby Loita Hills) in the Maasai Mara. The 5 tents are very comfortable, spacious and along with double or twin beds each has its own verandah, full bathroom facilities (including flushing toilets) and changing areas. The tents are carefully sited to ensure seclusion and that feeling that only comes from a real camp in real bush. Outside of your tent you have your own campfire. Although the camp is not fenced, it is patrolled at night by Maasai Askaris (watchmen) and the campfires and lights are kept burning from dusk to dawn. The Camp is located on Maasai land that is part of the Siana Wildlife Conservancy. All proceeds from concession and camp fees are used to help the local Maasai communities thereby giving them a valuable stake in Maasai Mara tourism |

| £135 / US$270 pppn January 1 - May 1, July 1 - October 31 £120/ US$240 pppn July 1 - December 12 £110 / US$220 pppn June These rates are based on 2 adults sharing for a minimum stay of 2 nights on a full-board, all inclusive basis (Exclusive of transfers to and from the camp). Children under 15 and 12 years are charged at 75% and 50% of adult rate respectively.
