KIA Lodge is only a 5 minutes drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport. The lodge is situated in the heart of the beautiful savannah scenery that is so typical for East Africa. It is your first introduction to Tanzania; here you can find friendly service, a reception in Zanzibar style, Makonde woodcarvings in the rooms and the famous Tinga Tinga paintings in the tropical restaurant.

From the lodge you have a beautiful view of the majestic and spectacular Mount Kilimanjaro which shows her snowy top mostly early in the morning and at sundown. The open bar gives you the opportunity to drink a Kilimanjaro Beer whilst looking at the mountain.

You can also choose to relax at the swimming pool on top of the hill, with an incredible 360° panoramic view.
