Canoe Trip

The route - about 2 hours. Two trips daily at 9am and 2pm respectively. Generally the 9am departure is more pleasant because of less wind. The lake may get choppy in the afternoon. |

The starting point |
 |
The experience. You will have a guide (either in your canoe or a 2nd one). You follow the shoreline and the guides point out birds and smaller wildlife. There are hippos in the lake but they are shy and you will stay clear of them. |

The canoes. Life-jackets are provided. Bring suntan lotion, wide-rimmed hat, sunglasses, binoculars, cameras and a poncho in case of rain. |
